Shown in Wool and the Gang Alpachino Merino & Take Care Mohair

We’ve knit our Woolly Loop Mittens using Wool and the Gang Alpachino Merino with frothy, spun-sugar cuffs in Take Care Mohair. Alpachino Merino is a warm, huggable blend of alpaca and merino wool, while Take Care Mohair is a seriously fuzzy blend of mohair, wool, and polyamide.

Medium Adult, 7"/18cm around, fits up to 8"/20cm hand.

1 skein Wool and the Gang Alpachino Merino (110 yds/100m each) for Main color (MC) and
1 skein Wool and the Gang Take Care Mohair (109 yds/100m each) for Contrast color (CC); held double throughout.
Plus a short length of smooth waste yarn for thumb.

US 8 (5mm) double-points, or size needed to obtain gauge.
US 7 (4.5mm) any format, or one size smaller than gauge needle.
Locking stitch markers.
Blunt darning needle to finish.

Mittens: 17 sts/25 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch in the round on larger needle.
