How to PBK -- Place Bead & Knit

With a tip of the hat to former Mouse Alicia Marin, here's a detailed tutorial on how to "Place Bead & Knit".

Let's start with the the definition of PBK from our glossary:

PBK = place bead & knit (slip a bead onto your crochet hook; lift stitch from left needle onto crochet hook inserting hook purlwise, pull for a little tension and, with fingertips, slide bead onto stitch; replace stitch back onto left needle without twisting; knit the beaded stitch)

Now let’s break that down to each step.

ONE Here we’ve got the bead on the crochet hook and we’ve lifted the stitch from the left needle onto the crochet hook:


TWO. Here we’re sliding the bead down from the hook onto the stitch with fingertips:


THREE. Next we transfer the beaded stitch from the crochet hook back to the LEFT needle.
