Bias 'Before & After' Ombré Infinity Scarf Using Isager Alpaca 2

Bias 'Before & After' Ombré Infinity Scarf Using Isager Alpaca 2

Bias 'Before & After' Ombré Infinity Scarf Using Isager Alpaca 2

Bias 'Before & After' Ombré Infinity Scarf Using Isager Alpaca 2

“Three colors, two strands, infinite style.”

With ombré shading techniques, you're a knitting artist. The colors mix, meld and unfurl before your eyes. You double strand the yarn, then add a new color at each segment. For the project shown here, we chose three colors of Isager Alpaca 2.

You'll need our Bias Before & After Scarf pattern (if you don't already own it, you can order it above). The free adaptation to that pattern shows you how to re-yarn the project and turn the scarf into a nice long loop—an "infinity scarf." It is a compulsively knitable project (someone who shall remain nameless is on her sixth!), and the bias nature of the knitting makes it super easy to wear and style any number of ways. Really, what are you waiting for?

Shown in Isager Alpaca 2

We knit this sample using three colors of Isager Alpaca 2, a beautiful blend of alpaca and wool. The alpaca offers softness, drape, and a bit of haze, while the wool offers substance, strength, and bounce!
