“Seed-stitched softness.”

The simple, elegant shape of this slouchy topper is beautifully timeless. In fact, it was inspired by heroine Flora Poste in the film Cold Comfort Farm (based on Stella Gibbons’ witty 1932 novel). With a rich, seed-stitch texture Flora’s Cap has a pleasing weight and warmth—and it seems to go with every outfit!

We knit this version of Flora’s Cap in Shibui Pure Cashmere held doubled throughout—for double the Pure Cashmere goodness! This fingering-weight yarn is composed of two, gently twirled plies of lofty cashmere. Lightweight yet significant and with a softness that’s nearly unbelievable, Pure Cashmere creates a slightly slouchy hat that has just the right touch of cozy, nonchalant charm.
