Rowan produces another staple for our knitting basket, a 100% cotton, worsted-weight yarn whose tight plies create a smooth, cool touch. This workhorse of a yarn is fun to work with and easy to care for. Machine washable, so perfect for accents around the home—our Crocheted Baskets, a Bucket Bag, or a stack of Picot Edge dishcloths in your kitchen. Cheery brights and easy neutrals for home and baby!

Yarn Source

Jimmy Beans Wool

Small tall (3"/7.5cm across x 7½"/19cm tall): approx. 120 yds/110m.
Medium (3¾"/9.5cm across x 2"/5cm tall): approx. 52 yds/48m.
Medium lid (4"/10cm across x ¾"/2cm deep): approx. 38 yds/35m.

Extra large (8"/20cm across x 6"/15cm tall): approx. 350 yds/320m.

Size E (3.5mm) crochet hook, or size to obtain gauge (for a nice firm fabric).
Locking stitch marker.
Darning needle to weave in ends.

Approx. 20 sc in the round = 4"/10cm.
Note: Your actual stitch gauge isn’t nearly as important for this project as getting a nice tight stitch that will give your items structure. If you need a smaller hook to get the structure, you may need a little more yarn to get the size you wanted.
