Crocheted Baskets: Double Stranded Version Using Hemp for Knitting allhemp6

“Doubly sturdy!”

This simple, single-crocheted basket is useful in the kitchen, the bathroom, by the bedside, and on the sailboat (after all, it’s unbreakable). There’s no end to the uses you’ll find! We’ve expanded on our original Crocheted Baskets pattern by creating a larger, even sturdier basket with our yarn held doubled.

Shown in Hemp for Knitting allhemp6

For this large Crocheted Basket, we chose Hemp for Knitting allhemp6—a 100% long fiber hemp yarn that’s also great for crochet! This yarn is wet-spun and mercerized for color fastness, softness, and a gentle sheen. And it won’t shrink, stretch, fade, or pill. Sample shown in color 012 Classic.
