Until you're ready to seam strips together, it's like having a series of scarves on the needles—perfect for knitting at soccer practice, or while you commute. Be sure to follow directions for counting rows/ridges and leaving adequate tails. If your squares and strips match up ridge for ridge and you have tails waiting for seaming, it will make the sewing up a pleasure.
