“Simple. Graphic. At home anywhere.”

We've received a lot of requests to scale up our Garter Blocks Baby Blanket for grown ups—especially for graduation and wedding presents. The simplicity of garter stitch lends itself to primitive and modern decors alike. Knitted in strips (with a little seaming later) it's a very portable project.

The strength of this pattern is its portability. Until you're ready to seam strips together, it's like having a series of scarves on the needles—perfect for knitting at soccer practice, or while you commute. Be sure to follow directions for counting rows/ridges and leaving adequate tails. If your squares and strips match up ridge for ridge and you have tails waiting for seaming, it will make the sewing up a pleasure.
