“Silky-sheer color-blocks!”

This scarf, inspired by long-time Churchmouse friend Alexandra Dane, is simple, simple, simple. So it’s the perfect canvas for a bit of color-blocked fun! Just a sheer tube of soothing stockinette stitch pressed flat, it’s a relaxing knit. And it’s a joy to bring in shades of color to its simplicity!

Shown in Isager Silk Mohair

We knit this version of Alexandra’s Airplane Scarf in four colors of Isager Silk Mohair. In this gravity-defying lace-weight yarn, the soft shimmer of silk glows through the airy halo of mohair. Of course, leave it to Isager to devise an exquisite color palette—full of soft, lustrous shades each more delicious than the last.
