In this free pattern, rows of triangles in three colors encircle your neck in a fun, geometric motif. A bit of ribbing in alternate colors at the top and bottom of the cowl adds a graphic, finishing touch. Plus, with a squishy structure and a comfortable, more-close-fitting size, this cowl is super cozy and quick to knit!

We chose three colors of a chunky-weight yarn that has a gentle, poofy twist. It creates a plush and cozy fabric. Mix playful brights with calm neutrals. There are so many fun combo options!

Yarn Source

Approx. 24"/61cm around x 81⁄2"/21.5cm deep, after blocking.

3 skeins Wool and the Gang Alpachino Merino (110 yds/100m each); 1 skein each in 3 colors.
Designate Colors A, B, and C. Or approx. 70 yds/64m in Color A and 45 yds/41m each in Colors B & C of an equivalent chunky-weight yarn.

Sample shown in colors (A) Ivory White, (B) Chestnut Brown, and (C) Midnight Blue.

US 11 (8mm) 24"/60cm circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
US 10½ (6.5mm) 24"/60cm circular needle, or two sizes smaller than gauge needle.
1 stitch marker.
Darning needle to finish.

Approx. 13 sts/17 rnds = 4"/10cm in colorwork stitch in the round, after blocking.
