Flat Rib Popover Pattern

Flat Rib Popover Pattern

Flat Rib Popover Pattern

Flat Rib Popover Pattern

The Design

“Simple, subtle style.”

Whether you wear it with denim or tailored pieces, this simple layer will have you dressed and out the door in a flash. It tapers imperceptibly to the hem for a boxy shape that doesn’t flare at the bottom. Dropped shoulders create a flattering line. The subtly textured rib pattern results in a smooth, flat finish that’s nice inside out, too.

We designed our Popover to be knit in a lighter worsted-weight yarn, like Berroco Ultra Alpaca. A fiber with an even balance of drape and bounce is ideally suited to this warm shell!

This four page pattern includes:

  • Color photography by the talented Jared Flood
  • Special Technique—’Clip and turn’ short row shaping
  • Tips and hints on how to swatch for gauge
  • Instructions for finishing and blocking your garment

See how we've used this pattern!
