Holiday 2021 falls on uncertain times. The US Postal Service is evolving, shipments are unpredictably fast or slow, and health protocols have cramped our workspace a bit. If you positively must have your package by December 25th, here are some good guidelines. Of course, the best suggestion is: Shop Early.
USPS “send-by” date for domestic mail is December 17. Hawaii and international shipping dates are uncertain.
Churchmouse “order-by” date for domestic parcels is December 8. If we receive your order on or before this date, we’re pretty confident we can make the USPS deadline.
Churchmouse “possibly” dates are anytime after that. We’re adding seasonal staff and creating extra shifts, so there’s always a chance it will arrive by Friday December 24!
Remember: if you make room for the unexpected, you’ll reduce your anxiety -- not a bad maneuver during the hectic Holidays.

UNABLE TO WIND
Why aren't we winding yarn? Ever since we instituted COVID precautions, which we still have in place, we've spread out in our workspace for safety. We no longer have the space for winding machines! Though we're not offering this service, it's very easy to wind yarn yourself—just visit our 'Winding Yarn by Hand' page for step-by-step guidance! (It's a great way for your hands to get to know your yarn.)
