The Design

This Shoulder Cozy is a capelet, poncho, and cowl all in one! Gather it up around your neck when putting on your coat or slip it down over your shoulders when you’re coat-free. It’s perfect for a bit of warmth over tees and dresses! We’ve also created a free adaptation to our pattern to include two kiddo-sized versions—sure to keep your little one nice and toasty.
We knit this Shoulder Cozy in a combination of Rowan Brushed Fleece and Lana Grossa Brillino. A lace-weight, chainette strand with metallic glitter, Brillino brings the tiniest, subtlest shimmer to the super soft, generously fluffy chunky-weight Brushed Fleece. Together, they create a cuddly cozy with a quiet, twinkling touch!

With cowl: 2 (2, 4, 4) skeins Rowan Brushed Fleece (115 yds/105m each) and 1 (1, 2, 2) skein(s) Lana Grossa Brillino (220 yds/201m each) held together throughout. Or approx. 142 (205, 390, 426) yds/130 (187, 357, 390)m each of an equivalent bulky-weight yarn and lace-weight yarn.

US 15 (10mm) 24"/60cm circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
