Designed by Bobbi Intveld for Blue Sky Fibers, the Winnipeg Hat is cozy simplicity at its best! The pattern includes instructions for adding cozy earflaps (smart for cold and windy days) and a super-sized pompom (how cute is that?).

The Winnipeg Hat is knit in Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok North, a chunky-weight yarn made from 100% Fine Highland wool. Like its worsted-weight sibling, Woolstok North is strong, sturdy, and single plied. It’s fairly lofty and lightweight for its bulk, while a soft and woolly touch promises snuggle-ability. And that lovely, heathered color palette was inspired by the craggy, unspoiled terrain of Peru.

1 skein Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok North (107 yds/97m each). Samples shown in colors 4310 Cranberry Compote and 4303 Highland Fleece with optional ear flaps and pom pom, and color 4314 Deep Velvet.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 13 (9mm) 16"/40cm circular needles, or size to obtain gauge.
Set of 5 double-point needles in same size as gauge needle.
1 stitch marker.
Darning needle.
Optional: Pom Pom Maker
