There’s something so homey about a knitted tea cozy. And practical. Keep your tea at the optimum temperature while steeping and we think you’ll enjoy the taste even more. Plus, it will stay warmer longer as you tackle just one more row or stitch before your next cuppa.
Our X x X Anniversary Tea Cozy fits standard Brown Betty–style (4-cup or 6-cup) teapots. We designed it with 10 little X-ing cables as a fun way to honor our first 10 years (4 years ago already!) We say home is where the teapot is. And every teapot needs a tweedy cozy! You’ll never look at a naked teapot quite the same way again.
We selected a few colors of Rowan Felted Tweed below that should hide the occasional drip very nicely. (Our sample on the left and middle is in color 178 Seasalter, and at right is color 172 Ancient.) But feel free to explore the Rowan Felted Tweed page for all the colors. You'll need 1 skein (held double) for a 4-cup teapot size and 2 skeins (held double) for a 6-cup or larger teapot. And if you don't already have the Churchmouse pattern, you can find that here as well.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 7 (4.5mm) needles (any format), or size to obtain a stretchy but lofty ribbing.

Cable needle or spare double point needle one size smaller than gauge needle.
