These umbrella swifts have been our constant, winding companions since Churchmouse opened in 2000. To this day, we use this faithful swift, quickly and smoothly transforming hanks of yarn into nice, knittable cakes.

Sturdy and well-crafted, these umbrella swifts have been manufactured in Sweden for more than 80 years, starting in the small, reed-making village of Mora. Using Forest Stewardship Council certified wood (environmentally friendly!) and fair labor, these swifts are meticulously made and of a wonderful quality.
