The Design

"A generous and elegant square."

Our love affair with linen stitch continues—this time using high-contrast colors for crisp zigs and zags or two closer colors for tonal shading. We've added a tiny edging and pressed the fabric for a supple finish.

This lace-weight version was so fine that we thought it would make a lovely big square. And it did! We put together two skeins each of two colors to make one elegant scarf that’s 30" square.
