Timber Cardigan - Shelter Version

Timber Cardigan - Shelter Version

“A layer of warmth.”

Shannon Cook set out to design your new favorite everyday cardigan - warm, cozy and versatile. From her latest book, Within, a return collaboration with Jane Richmond, Timber is knit from the top down with easy raglan shaping. An open-front cardigan filled with design details but suitable for a beginner. Deep twisted ribbing along hem and cuffs offer a modern look while slimming textural lines flatter and shape. Super cozy deep pockets hold notions and treasures and keep fingers toasty warm! Shannon chose one of our all time favorite fibers (and hers too!) - Brooklyn Tweed's worsted weight Shelter, an All American made woolen-spun that comes in 37 tweedy shades. Timber shrugs on easily, adding a layer of warmth to casual and dressy outfits alike.

Pick up the book and your yarn below; see the Basic Details tab for how many skeins you'll need for your size. We’ve chosen some favorite shades of Shelter here, but if you’d like to see the full selection of colors, just head over to the Brooklyn Tweed Shelter page. (If you don't see the pattern book below, that means we are temporarily sold out.)
