Strathcona - Isager Plant Fibre Version

Strathcona - Isager Plant Fibre Version

"A scarf we can't stop knitting."

As soon as Jane Richmond's Island book arrived in the shop, several of us were taken with the Strathcona scarf and cast on without delay. Sally and Freshy decided to knit theirs in Plant Fibre and we all gasped! It's the perfect combination of yarn and pattern for summer: cool fiber and open mesh.

We love the gloss and sheen of Isager Plant Fibre for this project. It's so cool against the neck. If you haven't played with this great blend of ramie, bamboo and hemp, this is a great little taster. You'll have it done in no time, and be wearing it through the rest of what's proving to be a very hot summer!

Pick up Jane Richmond's Island book below (if you don't already own it). Then choose a color of Isager Plant Fibre. For this gem of a scarf, you'll need just two skeins.
