The Design

"Zig and zag along."

Zig and zag along with this scarf pattern from Sirdar! A swift, engaging knit, it starts with a garter-stitch edging, which takes on a gentle wave as you switch to the chevron stitch pattern. This pattern for a generously sized scarf is accompanied by instructions for a simple hat with a cozy, ribbed brim that’s knit flat and then seamed.

Both the scarf and hat were knit in aran-weight Sirdar Jewelspun.

This four-page pattern includes:

  • A brief stitches and abbreviations guide
  • A blank section for note-taking
