The Design

"Color & texture, ebb & flow."

Light and breezy, our Seafoam Scarf is a cool addition to your wardrobe! Inspired by Barbara Walker’s ‘seafoam’ stitch in A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns, its waves and strands are created by varying yarn overs with garter stitch. Airy and elegant, this scarf (or wrap, if you so choose) is just right for swinging over your shoulders with a summer frock or tee.

This distinct stitch pattern works wonderfully with Berroco Medina’s shifting washes of color. In this DK-weight yarn, Berroco combines variegation and marling for warm shades that ebb and flow through the knitted fabric. Plus, the blend of cotton, acrylic, and viscose is smooth on your needles, and soft around your shoulders and neck.
