Liesl in allhemp6
Liesl in allhemp6
This long, seamless A-line tank fits every shape and is perfect over jeans or linen. We love the the asymmetrical drape of the hemline, as well as the English Tailoring technique that creates shoulder seams (the only seams on the garment!) that sit flatteringly just past the top of the shoulders on the back.
Those of us who knit a Liesl invariably make more than one. We often find ourselves making wee tweaks to the pattern for a little variation. Our penchant for hemp prompted Pam to try reyarning it using allhemp6. She also eliminated the pockets, widened the straps by about half an inch and raised the neckline an inch. After blocking, it drapes like a dream. And hemp’s durability and luster will keep it looking fresh—wear after wear after wear.
We’ve collected a few of our notes and adjustments (including Pam’s most recent ones) in our Knitter's Notes for the pattern. Grab the pattern and our notes below if you’d like to experiment with options—if you’re like us, you’ll make more than one!
