Class: Learn to Knit, Step One

Class: Learn to Knit, Step One

"Learn to knit fingerless gloves"

We wrote our Churchmouse Classroom patterns with the brand new knitter in mind! These little handwarmers let you practice the basic stitches as well as learn a few finishing techniques to boot.

You’ll learn: Cast on, bind off, knit and purl, garter stitch, stockinette stitch, ribbing, and mattress-stitch seaming.

You’ll make: A stylish set of fingerless gloves (worked flat), and you’ll have the skills you need to make a scarf to match! No previous experience required.

We’ll provide: The Churchmouse Learn-to-Knit Companion, a Churchmouse Classroom First Projects pattern, tape measure, darning needle, and practice materials.  Please see the 'Supplies List' tab for what you'll need to bring to class.

Maximum of 4 students per class. $60 (3-session workshop).
