One of our favorite pieces from Jared Flood’s original Brooklyn Tweed pattern release, the Guernsey Wrap is pure knitting pleasure. The nicely charted, fisherman-inspired, texture stitches will keep you entertained, but there are plenty of ‘cruise’ rows to relax through. Wear it as a shawl or as a lavish scarf. And it’s handsome on men and women alike!
Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, one of our favorite woolen-spun yarns, is perfect for the cozy Guernsey Wrap. Worsted-weight and spun from 100% Wyoming-grown Targhee-Columbia fleece, Shelter is multi-talented. Not only does it have beautiful stitch definition, it achieves the characteristic lofty spring beloved in woolen-spun yarns. And Brooklyn Tweed’s extensive color range of heathered, tweedy solids makes it easy (or not!) for you to find your favorite.

US 8 (5mm) needles, straights or 32" circular, in size needed to obtain gauge.
Stitch markers.
Blunt darning needle.
T-pins.
Blocking wires (optional).
GAUGE
14 sts/24 rows = 4"/10cm in textured pattern, after stretch blocking.
