The Design

"Take flight with this light scarf."

This airy scarf plays with panels of breezy sheerness! Earhart is a seamless, asymmetrical triangle made from two sideways-knit sections worked from the center out. Light enough for the summer months, yet stylish all year long, Earhart can be knit to scarf or wrap dimensions.

Designed by Sivia Harding for Shibui, the first section is worked in one strand of Reed, while the second section was knit using one strand of Lunar held together with one strand of Reed.

This four-page pattern includes:

  • Lovely full color photography
  • A clear design/sizing schematic
  • Brief guidelines for crochet provisional cast-on and slipped-stitch edging
