The Design
This sleeveless vest, designed by Erika Knight for Bloom at Rowan: Baby Cashsoft Merino & Summerlite DK, is the best kind of maternity wear. It’s stylish, cozy, and comfy—even after baby has arrived! Dandelion is knit mainly in stockinette stitch, with a round, ribbed neck. Selvedge side edges are split to the armhole and are secured by one-by-one rib ties. A clever layering piece, indeed!
This vest was knit in Rowan Baby Cashsoft Merino, a sport-weight yarn with the softest, gentlest touch. It blends extra fine merino wool and an especially fine acrylic microfiber with a touch of warm cashmere. Producing great stitch definition, machine-washable, and in a kid-and-grown-up friendly color palette, Baby Cashsoft Merino brings something special to everyday knits.
