These footies are full of great skills for sock newbies. They're brilliant for gifts, travel, around the house, or in clogs. And they're the perfect purpose for that skein of hand-dyed sock yarn! This little pattern offers a lot of learning: Picking up stitches, mattress-stitch seaming, increasing and decreasing, and Kitchener stitch, essential for toe grafting. Basic knitting skills, but no prior double-point experience required.

Maximum: 6 students. $50 (3-session workshop).

Please bring to class:

Fingering-weight sock yarn. (175 yards is enough for a pair that fits up to womens’ size 10 feet).

Set of four (4) US 3 (3.25mm) double-point needles. (May also want to have a pair of US 2.5 (3.0mm) DPNs available as well.)

OTHER Reading glasses, if necessary.

STUDENT DISCOUNTS: When you arrive for a class (excluding Circles) you’ll receive a nontransferable one-time discount card for 10% off store wide. These cannot be combined with other discounts or used for class fees. Please present your discount card at time of purchase.

REGISTRATION: Sign-ups begin immediately (exceptions where noted) on a first-come/first-served basis. You can register at the shop or by phone with a credit card. Your place is reserved with full payment.

CLASS MINIMUMS: Minimum class size is 3 students. ‘Go’ date is 7 days before first session. If your class is cancelled, we will call you and issue a refund. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to reserve your spot and ensure minimum enrollment. Sign up with a friend!

CANCELLATIONS: You may cancel up to 7 days before your first class for a full refund. If you cancel later, we cannot issue a refund unless we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list. Consider putting your last cancel date on your calendar. If you’re unable to cancel in time for a refund, you can always send a friend in your place. If we must cancel a class, we will issue a refund. We may, on occasion, need to call in a substitute teacher.
