"Learn to crochet handwarmers."
Our Churchmouse Classroom patterns are great for knitters wanting to learn to crochet, as well as those brand-new to fiber or looking for a refresher. Here is a simple little set of handwarmers to help you learn and practice the fundamental stitches that are the basis of crochet.
You’ll learn: Chain, single, half-double, and double crochet.
You’ll make: A pair of handwarmers, and you'll have the skills you need to make the matching scarf!
Maximum: 8 students. $160 (3-session workshop).
Session dates for this class:
Friday mornings 10:00-11:30am January 17th, 24th, & 31st with Kit and Nikki.
Supplies provided:
MATERIALS
The Churchmouse Learn-to-Crochet Companion, a Churchmouse Classroom First Projects pattern, tape measure, darning needle, and US H (5mm) Clover crochet hook—all housed in our custom-designed Churchmouse Canvas Tote.
YARN
1 skein Manos Maxima (219 yds/200m each).
Please choose one skein from the available color choices on this page and add it to your order (cost of yarn is removed at checkout if you also selected the class).
Light refreshments of tea and cookies will be provided.

First session: none.
REGISTRATION: Sign-ups begin immediately (exceptions where noted) on a first-come/first-served basis. To register for a class, simply add the desired session to your cart and check out as normal. You may also call our customer care line at 206-780-2686 with a credit card. Your place is reserved with full payment.
CLASS MINIMUMS: Minimum class size is 2 students. ‘Go’ date is 7 days before first session. If your class is cancelled, we will call you and issue a refund. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to reserve your spot and ensure minimum enrollment. Sign up with a friend!
CANCELLATIONS: You may cancel up to 7 days before your first class for a full refund. If you cancel later, we cannot issue a refund unless we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list. Consider putting your last cancel date on your calendar. If you’re unable to cancel in time for a refund, you can always send a friend in your place. If we must cancel a class, we will issue a refund. We may, on occasion, need to call in a substitute teacher.
