Winter’s coming winds encourage us to be scarf-ready, and this captivating design prepares us functionally and stylishly.
One of the 11 accessories in Woolens, Jared Flood’s versatile and beautiful new book, the Byway Scarf & Wrap is suitable for “Adventurous Beginners” and seasoned knitters alike.
Designed with Brooklyn Tweed Quarry in mind, this design calls for a cable and garter ridge motif that runs the length of the piece and is punctuated by clean blocks of moss stitch -- a nicely balanced effect in either the scarf or wrap version.
Grab the pattern book below along with your favorite shade of Quarry. You'll need 4 skeins for the scarf or 6 skeins for the wrap. (Please note that if you don't see the book below, that means we are temporarily sold out.)
Scarf (Wrap): 11 (18)” / 28 (45.5) cm wide; 80” / 203 cm long. Measurements taken from relaxed fabric after blocking.
