The Design

We can’t imagine a simpler—or more adorable—little sweater. When Mary Jo Blazina added this cutie to our repertoire seven years ago, she designed it in Trendsetter’s soft, fluffy ‘Blossom’ yarn and added a pretty flower button. If you make it in a woolly yarn for a little fellow, just think of it as ‘Bud!’

The Details

FINISHED SIZES
To fit 6–12 months (12–18 months); details for larger size in ( ).
Chest = 20 (24)"/50 (60)cm. Shoulder to hem = 10 (12)"/25 (30)cm. Sleeve length = 6 (8)"/15 (20)cm.

YARN
2 (3) skeins Trendsetter Blossom (75 yds/69m each).
Or 150 yds/137m (225 yds/206m) of heavy worsted-weight chenille or bouclé yarn.

NEEDLES
US 9 (5.5mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
13 sts/18 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch.
