Atmen Shawl Using Brooklyn Tweed Arbor

Atmen Shawl Using Brooklyn Tweed Arbor

"Knit, breathe, relax."

This all-over ribbed shawl from our friend, Shannon Cook, is squishy, soft, and soothing to knit. Atmen means ‘to breathe’ in German--a fitting name for a rhythmic slip-stitch pattern that’s both engaging and meditative. And the colorplay adds a bit of creative fun! Shannon says it’s the perfect project to help you de-stress at the end of a long day.

Atmen was knit in Brooklyn Tweed Arbor--a firmly spun DK-weight yarn made entirely in the United States. Warm and woolly, yet light and bouncy, Arbor’s great stitch definition shows off the springy structure of this shawl’s ribbing. And special thanks to Shannon for helping us coordinate these colorways from Arbor’s harmonious palette!
