Coronavirus Update

Online Service Suspended

Updated March 24th, 2020

Dear friend,

On March 23rd, Governor Inslee announced a ‘Stay Home, Stay Healthy’ order that requires everyone in Washington state to stay home unless they need to pursue an essential activity. It also closes all non-essential businesses for the next two weeks (until April 6th, unless extended beyond that date).

Heeding this order and doing our part to help the COVID-19 crisis pass, Churchmouse is suspending online sales starting March 24th. While we tend to think of yarn and tea as essential to our happiness, we know that at this time the health of our staff and the health of all in our community is so much more important.

If you have already placed an order, our small crew of Mice are packing as fast as they can in order to ship as many packages as possible (while maintaining a safe distance from each other) before Governor Inslee’s order takes effect.

Please note: If you place an order after this, your package will not be shipped until after the Stay Home order is lifted. We are so grateful for your patience.

We are still able to support the sales of our PDF patterns. This is a great opportunity to revisit your yarn stash, rediscover those gorgeous skeins you already have, and make something beautiful! Peruse our PDF patterns here—we hope you find some inspiration among them.

Since we’ll be safely ensconced in our own homes until further notice, we won’t be able to retrieve phone messages left on our shop’s answering service. But we will be able to check your emails from home! If you have a knitting question (or simply want to say hello!)—please write to contact@churchmouseyarns.com. We would, as always, love to hear from you.

Stay tuned to our emails and website—we promise to keep you updated throughout this process. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Please take care, stay healthy, and keep knitting!

All the best, from all of us.
