Beth Russell - The Forest Kits

Beth Russell - The Forest Kits

"For many, their first Beth Russell kit."

One of the most popular collections in our Bainbridge Island shop, the Forest range was designed in 1887 as a collaboration between William Morris (overall design and foliage), Philip Webb (animals) and Henry Dearle (millefleurs foreground). The original 15 ft (4.5m) tapestry now hangs in the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Beth's ability to translate these designs onto canvas, allowing needlepointers to work them in wool, has earned her fans around the world.

Finished size is 14 x14" (35 x 35cm), perfect as a pillow or a picture. Canvas size is 20 x 20" (51 x 51cm). Also available as a special order as a trio on a single canvas (just drop us a line).

Kit includes #14 Zweigart antique mono deluxe, Appleton crewel wool, needle and easy to follow instructions for basic tent/basketweave stitch.
