Cashmere Beret: DK Version Using Rowan Patina
The Design
We’ve updated our Churchmouse Classics Cashmere Beret pattern with a free adaptation to knit it at a DK-weight gauge—this means a softer, lighter fabric and a slightly slouchier fit. With an iconic shape and universally flattering fit, berets are never out of style. Add a pompom for a playful, tam-like finishing touch!
In Rowan Patina, this quietly chic topper gains soft fuzz and just the right touch of sparkle. Patina is a DK-weight blend of mohair and merino wool, shot through with a glittering thread of nylon and polyester. With delicate fuzz and an inner glimmer, Patina is a celebration in yarn form. And each 50g skein has such generous yardage for a DK-weight yarn—273 yds/ 250 m!
