The Design
Designed by Georgia Farrell for Bloom at Rowan: Nursery, this blanket is a sweet addition to baby’s room—or the family sofa, if you choose the larger size! It’s made of knitterly building blocks—simple, two-color squares that are worked from corner to corner. These blocks are arranged in different, quilt-like patterns—repeated arrows, pinwheels, squares, or perhaps something more organic—and then sewn together!
The Peony Blanket is knit in lightweight, oh, so soft Rowan Cotton Wool—a beautiful, worsted-weight blend of organic cotton and merino wool. Cotton Wool’s chainette-style strand gives structure to this airy, breathable fiber combo. It’s perfect for comfy, cuddly blankets!
