Corinthian Using Rowan Felted Tweed
Isn’t it amazing how a simple striping sequence can look so stunning? Martin Storey designed this piece for Rowan’s New Vintage DK collection, using his classic sense of style. Using one shade for the main stripe and alternating two colors for the secondary, he creates a visual illusion of depth. But one thing’s for sure—the generous coziness of Corinthian is no illusion!
This shawl is knit in three shades of Rowan Felted Tweed—one of our favorite yarns of all time. Felted Tweed is on the finer side of DK-weight and blends merino wool with alpaca and viscose. As a result, it has softness and spring, drape and luster—and so many color options for some truly beautiful stripes!
