The Design
Knit this cozy, deeply cuffed cap for him—and then borrow it back! It’s smart worn turned up for traditional sailor style, but we love it uncuffed and slouchy, too. We’ve made the ribbed cuff nice and deep so you can fold it a long way up without the wrong side of the stockinette stitch showing. Plus, this cap is a quick knit, which is great because you’re bound to be asked for more.
The Boyfriend Watch Cap is ruggedly handsome in Tahki Donegal Tweed. A 100% pure wool yarn, it’s spun with coordinating flecks and bits of wool to give the knit fabric that signature, tweedy look. Your hat will be sturdy, naturally warm, and beautiful in Donegal Tweed’s palette of earth, sea, and sky tones.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 8 (5mm) 16" circular needle and double-points, or size to obtain gauge.
US 7 (4.5mm) 16" circular needle (or one size smaller than gauge needle).
3 stitch markers (1 in a different color to designate beginning of round.
Darning needle to finish.
