Hatcher Using Shibui Cima/Pebble
Hatcher Using Shibui Cima/Pebble
The cycle of seasons marches ever on...sometimes it’s hard for us knitters to keep up! That’s why Hatcher, this short-sleeved pullover from our friend Julie Hoover, is such a wonderful project. It’s multi-seasonal! No matter when you start―or, more importantly, finish―knitting it, you can instantly wear it. Alone, it’s a perfect light spring sweater. And when the weather once again turns cold, layer it over another shirt for added warmth.
We used two lace-weight Shibui yarns held together. Pebble and Cima make a luxurious, texturally intriguing fabric that beautifully shows off Hatcher’s elongated cable motif. And all of the fabulous fibers―from Pebble’s silk, merino and cashmere to Cima’s alpaca and merino―blend together into something truly sumptuous.
Pick up a copy of the pattern below and choose your yarn. We've grouped some complementary colors of Pebble and Cima together; for a full selection of colors, go to the Pebble and Cima yarn pages. See the Basic Details tab for the number of skeins you'll need for your size.
