The Design

“Wee, stripey fun!”

We took our original Basic Christmas Stocking and gave it a little, colorful makeover! We’ve created a free adaptation for our stocking, showing you how to play with broad, seemingly random stripes. This version was knit to the ‘wee’ size and is too cute for words!

We knit this adorable Basic Christmas Stocking using Blue Sky Fiber’s Woolstok Bundles. These little yarn clusters contain three mini hanks each of seven different colors of Woolstok. That’s a total of 21 mini hanks! Worsted-weight Woolstok is made from Peruvian Highland wool—promising that your stocking will be lofty, lightweight, and resilient.
