The Design

This quick-to-knit sweater is airy and lightweight. Loose ribbing at the hem and cuffs gives it a lived-in look. Holding three strands of lace-weight yarn together—two mohair, one smooth—we chose high contrast colors for a smudgy marl. Closer tones will render a soft, pretty wash of color for a more tonal look.

For our Easy Relaxed Pullover, we held two strands of Rowan Kidsilk Haze together with one strand of Rowan Fine Lace. A lace-weight blend of super kid mohair and silk, Kidsilk Haze is delicate and fine with a luxurious halo. Fine Lace is a blend of the softest baby suri alpaca and merino wool. Together they create an airy, graceful, semi-sheer fabric!

YARN
6 (8, 8, 10) skeins of Rowan Kidsilk Haze and 2 (2, 2, 3) skeins of Rowan Fine Lace held together throughout.

Shown in two strands of Rowan Kidsilk Haze (229 yds/210m per skein), Color 634, and one strand of Rowan Fine Lace (437 yds/400m per skein), Color 934, held together throughout.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 10 (6mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge.
US 9 (5.5mm) 16"/40cm circular needle, or one size smaller than gauge needle.
1 stitch marker.
12 locking markers.
4 spare circular needles (gauge size or smaller), so you can knit off of needle from either end; or you can use waste yarn.
Darning needle to finish.

GAUGE
14 sts/20 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
