Crocheted Clutch: Crossbody Version Using Tahki Tandem
The Design
Originally designed for the 2019 Puget Sound LYS Tour as a little hands-free ‘passport pouch’ (perfectly sized for phone, cash, and lip balm), we found ourselves wanting one in every color. And then some. So we experimented with color-blocking and stripes, playing with the scale, and morphed it into a flat, foldable clutch—for this version we included a little slotted handle and a long, crossbody strap!
We love how single crochet works with Tahki Tandem’s shifting colors and textures. Glowing matte and sparkling gloss glide effortlessly through this worsted-weight strand. Its blend of cotton and viscose promise a light, cool touch with a sophisticated drape. And those colors! From warm and blooming tones to subtle neutrals—you may need to knit up a little clutch in every color!
