Frangipani 5-ply Guernsey

Frangipani 5-ply Guernsey

This rare and remarkable yarn, shipped directly to us from Penzance in Cornwall, is a high-twist traditional knitter's wool, worsted spun in Yorkshire. Knit at 8 stitches to the inch, it delivers a dense fabric that is virtually water- and windproof, and shows off 'gansey' purl patterns beautifully. It's also nice knit at softer gauges.

100% Pure New British Wool;
100g, 240 yds(220m). 28-32 sts = 4"/10cm on US 2-3 (2.5-3.25mm).
Hand wash.
