Alex Using Rowan Pebble Island

The Design

No returns on sale items please.

"Scrunchy, slouchy coziness."

Designed by Erika Knight for Rowan’s Pebble Island Collection, these fingerless mitts are ready to guard your hands against the chill. Knit in squishy two-by-two ribbing to a generous length, the Alex mitts also feature some fun color-blocking and a whip-stitch embroidery detail on the cuff. See the Dot project, if you’d like a matching scarf-and-mitts set!

These handsome handwarmers were knit in Rowan Pebble Island, a light worsted-weight yarn that’s spun entirely from the fine wool of unique merino sheep from Pebble Island, in the Falklands archipelago. Sourced from farming family on the island, this special, limited-quantity yarn is spun and dyed in a family-owned mill in Yorkshire. Breathable, bouncy, and resilient, this yarn is perfect for these warm mitts.
