Beeswax Food Wraps

"Handmade in the British countryside!"

If you’re searching for sustainable, plastic-free ways to keep your food fresh, these Beeswax Wraps are right up your alley (ours, too!). Handmade by the Beeswax Wrap Co. in their Cotswolds workshop, these wraps are crafted from organic cotton—with prints to match fun designs from Emma Bridgewater!—locally sourced British beeswax, pine resin, and organic jojoba oil. And there is no end to their capabilities!

Not only can you use these Beeswax Wraps to keep food fresh—wrap up your lunch, your teatime snack, your leftovers—you can use them to:

  • Prove dough
  • Make a piping bag
  • Open difficult jars
  • Wrap your toothbrush or soap bar when traveling
  • Keep an open wine bottle fresh
  • And more!

If you take care of your Beeswax Wraps properly, they’re reusable for up to a year. Do be sure to wash them with cold, soapy water and hang them to dry. If they start to appear soft or less tacky, you can refresh them and redisperse the wax in a low heat oven or with an iron (using parchment paper). Don’t use these wraps with anything hot, don’t use them in the microwave, don’t use them with raw meat or fish, and be careful when using them with acidic or oily things—they’ll break down the wax quicker. At the end of their life, you can use the Beeswax Wraps as firestarters or simply compost them! Each pack of Beeswax Wraps contains one medium wrap (11.8 in/30 cm by 11.8 in/30 cm) and one small wrap (7.9 in/20 cm by 7.9 in/20 cm).

2 pack: Lemon and Strawberry.

2 pack: Toast and Marmalade.
