The Design
The first half of this ribbed cowl is knit flat—to split over one shoulder or create an opening in front or back. Then, it’s joined in the round for a softly draping cowl or collar. Tubular cast-on and bind-off lend a sophisticated, ready-to-wear finish. Frontwards, backwards, upside down—wear it any way you like!
Knit in Woolfolk's Luft—an airy, fluffy, chunky-weight yarn—our Half & Half Cowl has a lovely, elegant drape without weighing you down. Luft’s lightweight strand is comprised of a Pima cotton chainette sleeve, with super-soft Ultimate Merino fibers blown through for a warm, cloudy aura.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 10 (6mm) 24" circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
US F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook for provisional cast-on.
Five yds/m smooth DK- or worsted-weight waste yarn for provisional cast-on.
Spare circular needle, gauge size or 1 size smaller, for tubular bind-off.
1 locking stitch marker.
Darning needle to finish.
