Class: Simple Toe-Up Socks
Seasoned and newbie sock knitters alike will love knitting socks from the toe up with the help of our new Churchmouse Classics pattern.
You’ll learn: A pair of socks, starting with toe increases, moving to the afterthought heel, and a cool stretchy bind-off.
Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills and prior experience with double-point needles required.

Maximum of 6 students per class. $45 (3-session workshop).

Please bring to class:
Fingering (350 yds) or DK (275 yds) weight sock yarn. DK weight goes faster! We recommend using DK-weight yarn, especially if this is your first pair of socks).

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
A set of double-pointed needles (or 2 circulars for Magic Loop, if you prefer and are comfortable with them); stitch marker. For DK-weight size US 3 (3.25mm). For fingering-weight yarns: size US 1 or 1½ (2.25-2.5mm).
Basic knitting notions, reading glasses if needed.
No homework required; wind yarn prior to class if necessary.
STUDENT DISCOUNTS: When you arrive for a class (excluding Circles) you’ll receive a nontransferable one-time discount card for 10% off store wide. These cannot be combined with other discounts or used for class fees. Please present your discount card at time of purchase.
REGISTRATION: Sign-ups begin immediately (exceptions where noted) on a first-come/first-served basis. To register for a class, simply add the desired session to your cart and check out as normal. You may also stop by the shop or call 206-780-2686 ext 4 with a credit card. Your place is reserved with full payment.
CLASS MINIMUMS: Minimum class size is 3 students. ‘Go’ date is 7 days before first session. If your class is cancelled, we will call you and issue a refund. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to reserve your spot and ensure minimum enrollment. Sign up with a friend!
CANCELLATIONS: You may cancel up to 7 days before your first class for a full refund. If you cancel later, we cannot issue a refund unless we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list. Consider putting your last cancel date on your calendar. If you’re unable to cancel in time for a refund, you can always send a friend in your place. If we must cancel a class, we will issue a refund. We may, on occasion, need to call in a substitute teacher.
