Luft means ‘air’ in Danish—and this chunky-weight yarn from Woolfolk is comprised of some absolutely lovely airy fluff. Ultimate Merino—the trademarked wool born of a special partnership with Patagonian ranchers, the Nature Conservatory, and the outdoor retailer Patagonia, Inc.—is blown through a sheer sleeve of Pima cotton for a yarn that’s light, warm, and surrounded by a super-soft, cloudy aura.
Former architect, Kristin Ford, learned to knit from her grandmother, Katherine Temple Woolfolk. When she launched her yarn company a few years ago, how could she name it anything else? Kristin’s Danish roots are evident in everything from her design sensibility (“wearable, clean, and minimal”) to her beautiful color sense.
Hand wash in cool water. Lay flat to dry. 50g, 109 yds(100m).
