Woolfolk Flette Bulky is the big, squishy sibling to the dynamically textured Woolfolk Flette! Flette Bulky—‘braid’ in Danish—is a malleable bulky-weight yarn that is created with 100% Ultimate Merino—the trademarked wool born of a special partnership with Patagonian ranchers, the Nature Conservatory, and the outdoor retailer Patagonia, Inc. One lofty strand is ruched, spiral-like, onto a single fine thread for a puffy, plump bouclé-like effect.
Former architect, Kristin Ford, learned to knit from her grandmother, Katherine Temple Woolfolk. When she launched her yarn company a few years ago, how could she name it anything else? Kristin’s Danish roots are evident in everything from her design sensibility (“wearable, clean, and minimal”) to her beautiful color sense.
