Linen Bias Scarf Project
We re-yarned our lace-weight Bias Before & After Scarf in linen for summer (or Florida winters!) with Louet Euroflax Sport Weight. By adjusting the stitch count but keeping the needle size the same, we made it a bit less sheer and a little more narrow. And one skein is all it takes! The cool, crisp linen gets softer every time you wash it.
We've chosen a few summery shades of linen that look just right with our size 6 Mill Hill "Magic Bead" color. We call the beads "magic" because they have the chameleon-like ability to blend with almost every color yarn. Visit the Louet Euroflax Sport Weight page if you want to browse all the yarn colors, and head over to the bead page to explore other options for the beaded edge. Or go to the Claudia Hand Painted Linen page for a selection of unique handpainted colorways. And don't forget to grab the pattern (if you don't already have it) and the free adaptation for linen below.
Approx. 5½ x 73", after blocking (bias width across stitches in direction of needle will measure approx. 8½").
