Color Play Mohair Wrap Project
We played with four self-striping colorways of our favorite mohair and silk blend. The colors really do mix, mingle, sweep and swirl in unexpected and wonderful ways! No two pieces will ever be alike. Stretch your color horizons by choosing even just one colorway that you wouldn't normally choose—you'll be amazed at how it plays with your favorites!
Grab the pattern below, and then choose your four-color combination. We've provided some of our favorite colorways, but there is no reason why you can't travel on over to the Rowan Kidsilk Haze Stripe page to choose colors of your own. Enjoy!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Churchmouse Classics Color Play Mohair Scarf & Wrap pattern (available below).
4 skeins Rowan Kidsilk Haze Stripe (70% super kid mohair, 30% silk; 50g, 460 yds/420m), 1 each in 4 colors.
US 7 (4.5mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge; darning needle to finish.
You'll be working with a double strand of yarn throughout. To work two strands from the same ball, use one end from the inside and one from the outside (re-wind into a center-pull ball if necessary). Each piece will be unique—you can change color anywhere in a row—just splice in your new color and you're off!
