We love a lace-weight yarn that's soft and strong, and Classic Elite Silky Alpaca has both in spades. The two fibers take color with depth and luster, whether dyed to a rich solid hue or hand-painted in glorious combinations. This yarn handles beautifully for simple or complex lace patterns, but it's brilliant knitted in simple stockinette stitch, too. You can double or triple strand it; and why not mix colors?
